Deepak Kumar Bajaj was born on 18th September 1971 in Varanasi, then moved to Rajasthan & spent his childhood in Laxmagarh. He is a seasoned industrialist and philanthropist, leading J D Bajaj Group for the last 25 years. He is a commerce graduate from Rajasthan university & was a consistent rank holder. He is married to Uma Devi Bajaj & has two daughters Harshita Bajaj & Avantee Bajaj & one son Aayushman Bajaj. He started his career with a Job at a trading firm. However, as a business on a much larger scale was always his final aim, he made an earnest foray in the business in 1997. He always had an entrepreneur in himself and with that sprit, he started the group’s first business i.e. Trading of Wheat Products and expanded gradually into many different sectors. As of now, the trading firm supplies all over India and in many big MNCs. He received an Award on Business Excellence at a seminar conducted by Yes Bank on behalf of J D Bajaj Group. Apart from playing a leading role as a businessman, Mr. Deepak Kumar Bajaj is also well recognized as a Social Philanthropic Activist. He has recently been nominated as Varanasi Chapter Chairman of Indian Industrial Association (IIA). He has also been Elected as President of Marwari Yuvak Sangh, Patron Committee & Varanasi Archery Association. He is also associated with several other social organisations at different posts including International Marwari Federation (Vice President, U.P. Unit), Shyam Mandal, Rotary Club, Green Eco Movement Society, Birla Hospital (Trustee), , Hindu Seva Sadan, Marwari Yuva manch Yuva Bhawan (Trustee) etc. An avid sports aficionado, Mr. Bajaj has a keen fondness for the outdoors while at the same time being a voracious reader of management books and an avid music lover.
